About megawatt.media

Editorial statement · 2026

What we cover

megawatt.media is an independent intelligence publication covering the global infrastructure economy that underpins the AI era. We track data-center power and cooling systems, hyperscale compute architectures, grid interconnection, silicon roadmaps, colocation markets, and the capital flows that build the physical layer of the internet. Our geography is the whole planet — from Virginia and Singapore to Frankfurt, Tokyo, São Paulo, and beyond.

Editorial principles

Every dispatch is grounded in primary sources — manufacturer technical bulletins, regulatory filings, SEC and FERC submissions, utility grid reports, and direct vendor briefings. We do not publish rumour or unverified analyst opinion. Where data is uncertain we say so. Attribution is mandatory. We separate editorial from commercial interests: no vendor pays for coverage placement.

How we gather information

An autonomous multi-agent AI pipeline monitors over 80 primary-source feeds in near-real-time, including press releases and engineering newsrooms from leading vendors across cooling (Vertiv, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, STULZ, Munters, Daikin, Carrier), power (Eaton, ABB, Siemens Energy, Cummins, Caterpillar, Rolls-Royce SMR), compute (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Supermicro, HPE, Dell, Lenovo), and networking (Arista, Cisco, Broadcom, Marvell, Corning). Regulatory intelligence comes from FERC, EPA, and national grid operators. Investor filings from major hyperscalers — Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Meta — are parsed for capital-expenditure signals. Each item is verified against the existing knowledge base before human editorial review.

Our mandate

The infrastructure economy is shaping where electricity flows, how cities grow, and which nations lead the next industrial cycle. megawatt.media exists to make that layer legible — to engineers, operators, investors, and policymakers who need signal, not noise.
